Narayangadh-Muglin road opens

Chitwan, August 4: Narayangadh-Mugling road that was obstructed by landslides on Wednesday evening opened today nearly 45 hours later. The road has become passable for vehicles from 2:10 pm following the clearance of debris.
The road that was obstructed by landslides at more than 10 places, is open for two-way traffic excluding Bhaludhunga where work was underway to clear debris, said Shiva Khanal, engineer for the Narayangadh-Muglin Road Project.
The debris would be cleared by today’s evening at Bhaludhunga, where a three-meter road has been swept away by a landslide, allowing two-way traffic operation, he added.
Four loaders and two excavators were used at Muglin area while two loaders and one excavator at the area from Simaltal to Gaighat. RSS
