Going to UK ? Why and for what ?

Door opens for higher studies after plus two. On the top of that it’s unquestionable to go abroad for them with good merits and financial well conditions. Nepal lacks the environment to study preferred subject with ease and this is the reason for thousands of Nepali students flying abroad. I find this quite obvious because no one wants to compromise with their future. 

Historically speaking, UK is the mother of democracy and education.  UK is one among the default destinations for Nepali students. It’s not wrong to dream being graduated from internationally acclaimed institutes. Even mighty moon can be touched if we follow our dreams.

Nepal and UK shares a 203 years long formal relation which commenced in 1816 AD during the Nepali Prime Minister Junga Bahadur Rana’s UK visit. Junga bahadur spent his 2 years of time at UK from 1903 to 1906 AD. He opened the door to Nepali students for studying at UK as a souvenir of his visit. Sooner he returned he opened Durbar high school for his children. It’s now almost 2 centuries Junga Bahadur established the thread of formal education in Nepal. Now after all these years, Nepal and UK are entering into the new dimension of their friendship making easier for Nepali students to pursue their further studies at UK. 

It’s been a decade of increasing number of Nepali students applying for UK. Before a decade UK used to be a sophisticated dream for Nepali students but now UK has started welcoming Nepali students with open arms. This coordination between UK and Nepal has now introduced UK as one of the easy educational destination even for Nepali students from lower middle economic class.

Academic qualifications 

 

Plus two passed out, Bachelors and masters passed are eligible for UK. Besides this IELTS marking of overall 6 and not less than 5.5 in each band is required. If IELTS below 5.5 than also student can pursue with foundation course. For the course such students must appear UKVI IELTS and this sort of IELTS can also accommodate students with 4.5 marking. Some university offers a free Password exam for those students who have secured 70 or above percentage in English subject.
